MUAY THAI BEGINNERS

The Muay Thai Beginner's program is tailored to students who have no experience in the art of Thai Boxing. In this class, you will learn basic but important techniques such as the guard, the stance, and simple punches and kicks. This class is slow-paced and perfect for newcomers to the sport.

MUAY THAI FUNDAMENTALS

The Muay Thai fundamental program is designed to impart to student's the core concepts of Muay Thai. The class will consist of shadowboxing, pad-work, and the occasional clinching and light-sparring drill. All students welcome.

MUAY THAI ADVANCED & SPARRING

The Muay Thai Advanced & Sparring program is designed for students who want to take their Muay Thai training to the next level. Complex techniques and combinations will be taught in the class, and students will be sparring at a medium to high-intensity. The Head Coach's approval must be sought before joining the class.

AJARN MANEEWUN SOMPRIAO

Head Coach

  • Hailing from Ubon Ratchathani, Ajarn Maneewun Sompriao has been teaching the art of Muay Thai for over 30 years. He went on to coach at multiple gyms around the world including Germany, China, Italy, and France, before setting his sights on Singapore. In his years of coaching at the international stage, he has worked with many prominent martial artists such as Yadong Song (UFC #15 ranked Bantamweight) and Mathias Cassarino.

  • His vision is to impart his knowledge and love for Muay Thai to anyone who wants to experience the art of eight limbs. Ajarn’s passion and dedication for the sport is clearly exemplified in the way he tailors his training for both new and advanced students.

LEO

Assistant Coach

  • Leo initially started Muay Thai as a way to stay in shape. However, as he delved deeper into the intrinsics of Muay Thai, he gradually fell in love with the art and it became a lifestyle for him. 

  • Having been part of a fight camp and cornerman, Leo understands the need for a sound gameplan and proper preparation for a fight. From this experience atop of his own training, Leo finds Muay Thai not only has its fitness benefit, but also mental benefits such as discipline and being composed under pressure.

  • Leo goes by the motto '”Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. If you can't do it slow, you can't do it fast" which he implements in his classes to ensure students of all levels are able to progress at their own pace.

KENNETH TAN

Assistant Coach

  • Kenneth has been training Muay Thai since he was 16. In fact, he won his first Muay Thai fight in Thailand at that age despite training a mere 6 months!

  • Kenneth went on to compete in multiple stadiums across Thailand and even Indonesia, and came out on top. Needless to say, he his burning with passion for the sport!

  • He brings with him years of experience and his goal is to impart his love and knowledge of the sport to those who are keen to learn.

ALEX 

Assistant Coach

  • Alex started his first Muay Thai class in his university school club. After a semester, he took a break and went on to explore other interests. However, Muay Thai was always lingering at the back of his mind and in 2017, he decided to dive right back into his true passion, Muay Thai. 

  • Martial arts has always intrigued Alex since young, but it was the skills and prowess of Muay Thai fighters that caught his eye. It was all these fights that inspired him and shaped him into the avid competitor and dedicated instructor he is today.

  • To him, Muay Thai is about being relaxed, and at ease with oneself. Classes shouldn't be stressful and the goal is always to have fun!

JONATHAN

Assistant Coach

  • Jonathan started his Muay Thai journey in 2017. To him, Muay Thai is as much a physical journey as it is a spiritual one. Immersing himself in the process provides him with a sense of tranquility and calmness.

  • Jonathan is known for being a patient teacher and adjusts the level of intensity for each student, understanding that everyone is unique and should have the opportunity to approach the art of Muay Thai at their own pace.

  • To him, consistency is key and "the only bad workout is the one that you missed". Well said!
